DD's Style File - The Joy of Cotton

Some people love lace, some love silk...which I agree are quite nice, but me? Call me crazy, but I love cotton! I always love the clothing in the Cotton commercials, like the ones with Zooey Deschanel singing "The Fabric of Our Lives."

This particular look came about as I, exhausted and sleepy, tried to be good and pick out my work clothes for the next day before hitting the sack...and voila!

For me, this is a quintessential summer outfit, that's breezy yet professional.  I always seem to end up loving the "accidental" outfits the most and this one can be added to the list. The simple soft cotton button up and a seersucker print skirt made me feel like I should be traipsing through the promendade in a Cotton advertisement!
