Ok, I'm sure we all remember the body glitter back in the 80's and 90's that left big, chunky flecks of sparkly fragments on your arms and legs. Perhaps you weren't the one wearing it, but there was always a girl with that miniature pot of plastic colored glittery jelly, who perhaps even slathered it on her cheeks and eyelids... Oh, the horror!
Fast forward a decade (or two) and I'm here to tell ya that a subtle summertime glow worn with your halter neck and strapless frocks, short shorts and one shoulder dresses can be down right divine! It's all about the subtlety, divas. Forget all about those horrible 1990's beauty don't flashbacks and allow me to suggest a few products that can certainly do a body good!
Mario Badescu Summer Shine Body Lotion - Applying this greaseless, vitamin A enriched pale gold lotion will give your skin a touch of golden sheen all with a soft scent of tropical beachiness.
Jergens Soft Shimmer Skin Radiance Moisturizer - Enhance the natural radiance of your skin with the subtle light reflectors packed in this body moisturizer, giving your body a hint of bronzed shimmer, leaving your skin silky and looking it's best.
Bare Escentuals Platinum Gossamer - Add a lot of glamour with a little glimmer, with the aid of a large fluffy body brush (sold separately) lightly dust your skin with a touch of twilight that will glow in just the right angles of light.
philosophy in the buff body gloss - Spray on this silky body gloss to leave your skin with a luminescent and healthy glow.
"Get your glow on" for an evening out on the town or for special outings, when you want a little extra special touch. I personally use Bare Escentuals Body Glimmer. It came with a body sized buki brush that I use to apply the light shimmery minerals to my shoulders, collarbone, shins and calves. I believe this particular product has now been discontinued, but there are auction sites that still have it available in kisses of color like gold, rose gold and diamond.
